What is 20 Percent of 150?

Very easy method for solving percentage equations.

1. Let’s call this unknown value Y
2. Solve the equation for Y by first writing it as: 100% / 150 = 20% / Y
3. Multiply both sides by Y to transfer it on the left side of the equation: Y ( 100 / 150 ) = 20
4. To isolate Y, multiply both sides by 150 / 100, we will have: Y = 20 ( 150 / 100 )
5. We get: Y = 30 and this is our answer.
